Students and Graduates

I started at Mativ as an entry-level hourly laborer in 2017 before rising to my current role as a floor supervisor. We pride ourselves on running a safe, efficient, all-inclusive facility. Everyone on the team is friendly and down-to-earth and when we come together as one Mativ, we flourish.  

The Mativ culture encourages growth and development. Our team respectfully challenges each other to create and improve processes for tracking and approving capital projects. I enjoy making and revising drawings, and the teams that I work with appreciate my organizational abilities.

I love being challenged with something different every day and working collectively to solve problems and find solutions. While the culture at Mativ is still new and evolving, I can say that safety is our highest priority. In addition to my work as a tradesman, I’m proud to report to 178 USW members as their President. 

I help bring together multi-functional teams from across the business to assess and respond to our customers’ needs. We work hard to put the customer at the center of everything we do. In turn, this collaborative approach helps me to provide the most accurate product designs and project designs for our customers.

At Mativ, we are not afraid to embrace change or challenge. Whether it’s a tough new project or an opportunity for personal growth, we approach it with enthusiasm. Our team is versatile, flexible, and eager to build each other up and support one another. 

Often, there is more than one route to a solution so finding the right one is crucial. Being fortunate enough to work with a strong team of functional and technical experts across the company, it is evident to me that our prosperity is driven by our people. The collaboration at Mativ is extremely rewarding on both a professional and personal level.
